Different yet the Same

We are different, yet the same.  Well, yesterday I came across a typical introduction. “He lives with his family- his wife, 3 kids, their dog, cat, snake, rat pet, goldfish, and bunny. That’s a typical American introduction. In Africa, we are different. Pets are not part of our families.

But we are the same- some names in the U.S. sound very African- Orlando, Ottawa, Ohio, Lake Oswego. If this was Africa, they would belong to the Luo community of Kenya. I saw one “Ole”. This would be Maasailand.
